OCUA Employee Recognition Award
July 27, 2006 - Michael Boice, was presented with the
Authority’s Employee Recognition Award during the
Authority’s Regular Meeting on July 27, 2006 by
Chairman John Parker.
Michael
joined the Authority twenty-two years ago and has
worked his way up through the ranks. In March 1999,
Michael was promoted to his present position of
Assistant Buildings and Groundskeeper. His
extensive knowledge and experience in the buildings
and grounds field has proven extremely valuable to
the Authority. Michael has been recognized for his
outstanding effort, creativity, and expertise while
at the same time minimizing the cost of
accomplishing his many varied responsibilities.

The Ocean County Utilities Authority established an
Employee Recognition Award Program in 1995. This
program was designed to formally recognize Authority
employees for their performance over and above what
is normally expected. Since its inception, fifteen
employees have been recognized for their dedication
and initiative. In many cases their efforts have
resulted in a significant cost savings to the
Authority or their outside community achievements
have been of an outstanding nature.
